Game Changing Stretch For Rotational Athletes
Let's play a game, and see if your mental muscles are as agile as your physical muscles~
When I count to 3, give me 3 activities you do every day where you need to rotate your torso.
Ready?
1...2...3..GO!

What'd you come up with?
Grabbing something out of the backseat while driving?
Swinging a club, bat or tool?
Getting out of bed?
Ab exercises?
When you think about it, there's a lot we twist our torso to do.
You might be expecting me to go on a tangent about the importance of stretching to keep your back nice and nimble...and while that's true; I have a feeling you'd like a little something extra.
A lil' EXTRA EXTRA.
How about some Next Level Muscular DeVelopment Training?
Cool. Here's how we do this:
The answers you gave above-the rotational activities-how many of them do you one-sided? (For instance: If you swing a bat-do you always hit rightie or leftie? Or if you reach into the backseat of your car, do you always reach back with the same arm? Capeesh?)
Check this out: Here's something you may not give much thought to, but in doing as much yoga and corrective training for my peeps as I have throughout the years, I've learned that you get REALLY uneven when you do any sort of movements the same way all the time.
And like most things, the effects are cumulative; which means when it comes to rotational movements, you can get kinda "sticky." (It can also happen from years of intensive training WITHOUT a dedicated rehab/flexibility/mobility program.)
Ready for the EXTRA EXTRA?
I've got a fabulous stretch that we call "THE GAME CHANGER STRETCH," because it literally is a game changer for rotational athletes. Best part--you can do it anywhere; even in your hallway! lol
