Why Breakfast Is Critical To Your Success

Everyone's heard the saying, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day."

Wanna know WHY I am so emphatic about breakfast?

The answer is in the name:  Breakfast.  It literally means break-the-fast.  

Your body uses energy 24/7.  It still uses energy while you sleep.  Your heart is still beating, you are still breathing, your body is restoring and replenishing its cells, producing hormones, and flushing out waste products...all of those things require energy.   

WHICH MEANS...when you wake up you're starting out behind the 8 Ball.  Your body went all those hours working without food-you gotta fuel it.  With food.  Not just coffee.  And not 3 hours after you wake up.   Fuel it pronto.  

Here's the other reason why breakfast is so critical:  Worry and anxiety worsen when your body is deprived of energy.   

When you're putting in work-in the gym, at your  job, running your own business or household, you often wake up with your mind in defense mode.  And before you know it, you're stressing about the list of things you have to accomplish and wind up either procrastinating or having an extra cup of coffee to "wake up," when the simple solution to both is actually food. 

You cannot expect to Run Your 24, much less dominate your day when your body is running on empty.

If you're going to play like a Champion, you gotta eat like one.
