Consistency Is Key
When you want to chop a tree down, how often should you hit it?
Once every month? Every day for 3 weeks and then not again for another 9 months?
Of course not.
When you want to chop a tree down, you hit it consistently-IN THE SAME SPOT-until it falls down.
So too it is with your goals.
CONSISTENCY IS KEY.
Consistency in frequency, and consistency in the specific location.
Success in any endeavor doesn't happen with one "mighty chop."
Success comes about after taking multiple swings of the proverbial axe to the same spot-over and over again-until you get the results you want.
Truth be told, it requires more energy than you think.
It requires more effort than you imagine.
It requires more patience, perseverance, grit and mental tenacity to chip away at the giant in front of you until you get some movement; and even more to take that bad boy down.
That's where the habits of consistency come in.
For some people, consistency is a little bit at a time.
For others, it's a whole lot a whole lot at a time.
But the common thread between the two is CONSISTENCY.
Consistency of thought, followed by consistency of action.
Consistency breeds trust-trust in yourself, trust in your relationships, and trust in your leadership abilities to navigate through the challenges and come out Victorious.
This week remember: CONSISTENCY IS KEY.
