Everything Leads You To Your Next Stage In Life

ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS LIFE

Everything leads you to your next stage in life.  For me, transitioning from a regular W-2 paid employee to an Entrepreneur wasn't that big of a stretch.  It was an inevitable decision.

I come from a Family of Entrepreneurs.  I grew up in a household where we ran 3 businesses and several side-hustles. My brother Carl and I were very involved in all facets of business operations- and we learned the skills of prospecting, marketing, sales and customer service-that was our normal childhood.

As a general rule (haha), Entrepreneurs DO NOT FIT INTO SOCIAL NORMS.  We do $#!+ our own way.  I took a slightly different bend on that trend, (aka Normal Nicki Procedure), because I actually LIKE school, and went to college.  For those of you who don't know, I became a nurse.

Let me be the first to tell you that I never wanted to be a nurse (story for a different day), but also that going in (to Nursing), I knew and made the firm resolve:  NURSING WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A LONG-TERM STRATEGY.

In fact, when I reached the 10-year point on the job clock as a nurse-I almost had a stroke!  I was like, "Holy Shit!  10 years?!?  OMG-time to press the pedal to the metal-cuz I gotta get outta here!"

The thing was...I didn't know exactly what it was that I wanted to do next.

I had a lot of encouragement from people telling me to do work as a Personal Trainer or Nutritionist; but I immediately had 3 objections:  First, I honestly was not IN LOVE with the idea. Second, it really wasn't that big of a challenge; and third, it CERTAINLY was not going to yield the ROI I was searching for.

HERE'S WHAT I DID KNOW:

*  I knew I wanted to help every man, woman and child in the United States transform their physical and financial health

*  I knew I wanted to shift the Health and Fitness Industries towards Prevention and Vitality.

*  I knew I wanted to have global reach to touch more lives.

*  I knew True Business Ownership would be the vehicle to do this.

*  I knew this would require every ounce of my being and 100% commitment.

Here's the funny part...WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW, was what this "thing" actually was.  Regardless of that minor detail...I knew, without a shadow of a doubt that I was the right person to do it! Bawhahahaha!  Sounds crazy, right?

In all seriousness, it was crystal clear in my mind what I was going to do.  I didn't feel the need or urgency to name "it."  I simply decided that's what I was going to do, and took immediate and consistent action to build out what is now The Transformation Gold Coaching and Training Academy.

And that's what Entrepreneurship is about.  It's recognizing an opportunity to serve others:  by filling a need, or solving a problem and capitalizing on it.  It's a way of thinking, it's a way of being.

Entrepreneurship is Life.
