How To Break Up With Your Training Partner

Let's face it...break ups suck.  No one likes to be the one to end it, but sometimes it's necessary.

Whether it's because your training partner is unreliable (i.e. oogles over the gym hotties rather than spotting you, constantly flakes out on you, doesn't show up, etc.) or simply because you are out-growing them, or do not share similar goals; it's time to end the relationship.

There are 3 ways to break up with your Training Partner:

1) Be A Coward.  Ignore their texts, phone calls and social media out reaches, hoping they'll get the hint.

2) Be A Jag.  Do anything you can to make them so angry that they break up with you first.

3) Be Kind, Clear And Honest.  Self-explanatory and obviously the higher route.  It is uncomfortable FOR SURE, especially since this is also done in-person (or at least with a live phone call); no texting, messaging, or voicemail.  With this one, you are showing who you are and what you stand for:  INTEGRITY and RESPECT.
