I Cannot Tell A Lie...
I'm one of these High Level Producers that always needs to be learning, creating and evolving. Anyone who knows me, knows this is 100% true. I've always been very driven and very disciplined.
Those qualities are REQUIRED for achieving your goals-but bear in mind that your greatest strengths are also your greatest weaknesses. Admittedly, it's hard for me to understand stagnancy and lack of commitment. I honestly don't get it.
That's said with a chuckle; but it's totally true! For me, growth is an expectation; as is accountability and self-startership. Believe you-me (as my Pop Pop used to say), one of the biggest questions I get asked, and used to ask of myself is, "Was I born this way?"
NATURE vs. NURTURE
I was a total early bloomer...I walked WAY before most kids even stand up, had full blown conversations at a very young age, and have been gifted with many talents and abilities that are nothing less than God-given.
WITH GREAT TALENT COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY.
I grew up in a household where we ran 3 businesses, largely due to the fact that my stepdad was on medical disability from his job as a construction foreman. As life would go on...both my brother and I were granted a high degree of trust, and a high level of expectation to fulfill responsibilities around our house, and within our Family Businesses without being prompted. Additionally, my Dad, while not an entrepreneur, is a high-level producer in Sales.
What does that mean?
HUSTLE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME; IT'S WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO.
Ya want something? Go out and earn it.
You gotta make it happen-cuz in either scenario-entrepreneurship or income generated via commission-if you don't produce; you don't eat. And BTW, you always have to be one step ahead of the game-prepping for the next week, the next season or unexpected emergency.
No Excuses.
So there you have it: Nature AND Nurture. Genetic gifts-yes; but after that, the "overnight" successes hav been found with hours and hours of pounding on my crafts to develop the habits and skillsets of a Champion-in every area.
So here's what you can expect from me as the Founder of this Awesome Academy-STRAIGHT TALK and full-blown commitment to roll out high-level training and coaching programs with the same level of heart that my Family has taught me.
Your Job is to remain coachable, and to begin demanding from yourself a high level of accountability and discipline to self-start, and to follow-through with your commitments-whatever they are.
